Because of the announced protest on Saturday 24/10/2015 in 19h in Podgorica, we inform you that we are shifting the schedule of the introductory gathering related to the beginning of the project "Theatre Play About Kotor" at 11h (instead of the previously announced 18h). In addition to an hourly rate, there are no other changes. More about the project read below. See you!
There's so much that you would like to tell about life in Kotor, and there is no one to hear you? Here's your chance ... GET INVOLVED in the preparation of documentary theatre play (based on the stories of citizens) with the aim to present uniqueness, but also the problems burdening the Kotor residents... The invitation is open for everybody - regardless of gender, age, education and acting experience.
First meeting of the partners on the project Artizen Initiative funded by Creative Europe, is held in Ljubljana on April 26th 2015. The meeting was attended by the representatives of non-governmental organizations Dedale (France), AltArt (Romania), ProstoRož (Slovenia), Idensitat (Spain) and EXPEDITIO (Montenegro).
Desk for Creative Europe of the Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Municipality of Kotor, held on 04/08/2015 Info day dedicated to EU programs Creative Europe and the Europe for Citizens 2014-2020, at the Byzantines Palace in Kotor. EXPEDITIO representative, Maja Krivokapic, participated in the Info Day, presenting two projects supported by the EU Culture programs.
European ARTIZEN Initiative (EAI) - From Smart City to Smart Citizens approach
In the context of growing urbanization, European cities have to face an acceleration of urban, social, cultural and economic challenges and fragmentation, reinforced by the economic crisis. More than 70% of European citizens live today in cities, and this share is still growing: prospective studies value that in 2025 more than 2/3 of the world population will live in cities. Mutations are crystalized in European urban territories, representing particularly fertile experimentations fields for new proposals.
