Expeditio Beograd

PK_1A representative of Expeditio attended Permaculture days in Belgrade. A lecture entitled “What is permaculture and how is it practiced in the region?” and the workshop “Small solutions for big problems” took place in the Cultural Center Nea Pangea in Belgrade, on 2 and 3 of February. The guest lecturer was Ivan Gregov, an artist and eco-activist for the past 12 years, and one of the most experienced permaculture practitioners in Croatia and the region. Since 2005 Ivan has worked as a designer, instructor and organizer of the internationally certified 72-hour PDC courses of permaculture design.

logo-expThe Belgrade municipality of Savski venac has provided an office space for EXPEDITIO Belgrade. The space where we now work is a part of the municipal Business incubator, a concept intended to support small enterprises and cooperations during their initial work period and help them overcome the first challenges they face. The possibility to use this space is given to IT companies and several NGOs. We thank the Municipality of Savski venac and we look forward to a future collaboration.

pam-zgradaA representative of Expeditio took part in round table entitled “Smart building” which took part on December 15th in the Cultural Center REX in Belgrade. “Smart building” is a call to people who would like to discover the ways to construct affordable city housing for those who do not own a dwelling and could not buy one under the current market conditions. The organizer of this round table, the initiative Ko gradi grad (Who Builds the City), brings together a group of people who wish to practically learn how to obtain an apartment through acceptable investments and minimal real price – people who are interested in and ready for planning, investing and building together – in a smarter way – by planning collectively, investing responsibly (their time, knowledge, work ability and/or financial resources) and by building intelligently.
