Expeditio Beograd

pamzA representative of Expeditio participated in a coordination meeting of the initiative Smarter Building, which took place at Cultural Centre REX in Belgrade on July 4, 2013. During the meeting, possible locations for the future smarter building were discussed and several locations for its construction proposed both in the centre of Belgrade and its outskirts.  The visits of the most interesting location are planned to take place in September 2013.

europa_nostra_serbiaA representative of Expeditio attended the Annual General Meeting of Europa Nostra Serbia on March 28, in Zepter Museum in Belgrade. Current activities and future plans of Europa Nostra Serbia were presented during the meeting, as well as the collaborative work with other organizations and institutions in Serbia and the region. In addition, several presentations were devoted to future important projects that Europa Nostra Serbia plans to implement.

homoljeA representative of Expeditio completed the 72-hour Permaculture design course that took place in Belgrade from March 29 to April 7 in cultural center Nea Pangea. The “72-hour PDC” (Permaculture Design Course) is an internationally standardized 10-day course that introduces the participants to the complex world of permaculture. This was the first course of this kind in Serbia, and it was organized by Earthship Serbia, ZMAG and Office for permaculture (Ured za permakulturu) together with cultural center Nea Pangea.

pam-zgradaA representative of Expeditio took part in the round table “Smarter than ownership and profit-making?” held on February 2 in the Cultural center Rex in Belgrade. The round table was dedicated to issues of individual and collective ownership, as well as topics related to ownership issues in a collective building/housing project. Presentations and discussions alternated during the afternoon, and included comparing apartment costs with monthly earnings and average credit payments, presentation of examples of collective housing projects from abroad, as well as explanations of the legal background for ownership issues in a project of this kind.
