A group of experts from various fields from the area of Kotor Bay has filed an Initiative to protect the complex Car-camp in Dobrota, due to concerns about the planned interventions that threaten to destroy this complex, which is a typical example of architecture of the XX century and threaten the value of the region of Kotor, which is located on the World Heritage Site List.

Action "Earth Hour" is organized this year around the world. On Saturday March 28th 2015, starting at 20.30h, citizens of our planet who want to contribute to environmental protection, will turn off the lights for 60 minutes. Expeditio also supports this action. We invite all citizens, institutions, enterprises and all interested parties to join the initiative, and thus contribute to the preservation of our planet.

NGO Green Home on Tuesday March 10th, has organized a protest in Budva, against the announced oil and gas exploration in the Adriatic Sea. The reason for the protest was the maintenance of the Adriatic Summit on Oil and Gas, which was held at the same day in Budva, and was aimed to examine the current opportunities and challenges in the field of exploitation of oil and gas in the Adriatic region.

In Sarajevo, on February 24th 2015, there was a presentation of the Balkans Arts and Culture Fund. On that occasion were presented 7 projects that were selected to be funded from this fund. Among the selected projects is the "ACT4CITY - Independent cultural actors towards sustainable Balkan cities" that will jointly realize: Expeditio, Kotor, MNE; Ministry of space, Belgrade, RS; Creative City Network - CCN, Skopje, MK; Art Workshop Lazareti, Dubrovnik, CRO. Presentation in Sarajevo was attended by the representative of Expeditio.

For the purpose of conducting activities in the field of gender equality, Municipality of Kotor adopted a Resolution on education and the appointment of the president and members of the Council for the implementation of the Local Action Plan for achieving gender equality between men and women. EXPEDITIO representative, Tatjana Rajic, is one of the appointed members of the Council for LAPRR.

Workshop on "Practical application of Zero Waste standards in the organization of events and festivals" was held on 27.02.2015., in the Multimedia Room of the Municipality of Tivat. The workshop was organized within the project "Zero Waste - Adriatic network of events and festivals", which is implemented in Montenegro by the Municipality of Tivat. In addition to representatives of public institutions, NGOs and the media, their participation at the workshop had representatives of EXPEDITIO.

EXPEDITIO representative, Biljana Gligoric, participated as a lecturer at the conference of the Committee for Energy Efficiency, held on February 25th, 2015 in Podgorica. Committee for Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection of Montenegrin Chamber of Commerce was presented the funding opportunities for SMEs in Horizon 2020 program, as well as the project "Management of industrial waste and cleaning".

Expeditio representative, Aleksandra Kapetanovic, is a jury mamber in the category 3 Dedicated service for the awards EU Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards. Jury meeting was held in early February in The Hague (Netherlands). Information about the awards for this year will be soon published.

Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, Agency for Environmental Protection and the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts in cooperation with the Municipality of Kotor organized a panel discussion: "Mapping of radon in Montenegro and improvement of the National System of Protection Against Radon" which was held in the palace Byzantines in the Old Town Kotor on 20.02.2015. In addition to representatives of local government, teachers, high school students and representatives of the media, the event was also attended by representatives of EXPEDITIO.

Video interview with Tatjana Rajic, one of the founders of the organization Expeditio in Kotor, which is since 1997 working on encouraging sustainable spatial development in Montenegro and SEE region through activities in the field of sustainable architecture, cultural heritage, urban planning and through projects that encourage overall development of civil society.

State Secretary for European Integration and chief negotiator, Ambassador Aleksandar Andrija Pejovic with associates, spoke in the debate on "Opportunities to Participate in Cross-border and Transnational Cooperation Programmes", during his working visit to Kotor in St. Paul church. EXPEDITIO representative, Biljana Gligoric, participated in this public debate that was held on 02/06/2015.

Democratic Leadership School held a workshop for representatives of non-governmental sector in order to strengthen their role in the field of energy efficiency and parliamentary processes. Within the workshop, which was held at the Civil Alliance on January 30th, 2015, representative of EXPEDITIO Biljana Gligoric held a lecture.

Prestavnica EXPEDITIO, Biljana Gligorić, učestvovala je na obuci "Započnite konsultantski biznis", održanoj u Kongres centru hotela Best Western Premier u Podgorici, 16. i 17. decembra 2014. Obuka je organizovana od strane Evropske banke za obnovu i razvoj (EBRD) i jedna je u seriji treninga fokusiranih na rast i razvoj konsultantskog biznisa.

Predstavnica EXPEDITIO, Biljana Gligorić, učestvovala je na Regionalnom forumu "Evropa za građane 2014-2020", održanom 27. i 28. novembra u Zagrebu.

EXPEDITIO je podnio prijedlog za članicu Savjeta za upravljanje Područjem Kotora na osnovu Javnog  poziva  koji je bio upućen nevladinim organizacijama.

The newest version of the Balkan Express reader: Sustainability, Arts and Society (pdf), edited by Una Bauer has been published.In the reader there are reports on the interesting discussions and meetings of Balkan Express in 2012/2013 period as well as inspirational articles on the theme. 

U Budvi se 27-29. novembra 2014. održavala "REC SECTOR Belarus and Moldova" završna konferencija. Posljednjeg dana konferencije, učesnici su posjetili Kotor. Tom prilikom, 15-tak gostiju iz Moldavije i Belorusije se srelo sa predstavnicima NVO Expeditio i Kompas, upoznali su se sa radom civilnog sektora i izazovima sa kojima se suočavaju nevladine organizacije na teritoriji opštine Kotor.

Nevladina organizacija EXPEDITIO uputila je Upravi za zaštitu kulturnih dobara - Područno odjeljenje Kotor, Mišljenje vezano za tretman upravne zgrade "Jugooceanije" u Kotoru i inicijativu za uspostavljanje zaštite. 

Upravna zgrada "Jugooceanije" u Kotoru jedan je od najznačajnijih primjera moderne arhitekture iz druge polovine XX vijeka u Kotoru i posjeduje značajne arhitektonske. istorijske i društvene vrijednosti.

Within the process of development of the Management Plan for fortification Besac on Skadar Lake, NGO Expeditio held the first of three planned workshops with stakeholders. The workshop was held on August 1st 2014, at hotel "Vir" in Virpazar.

U International Conference of the Network INURA (International Network for Urban Research and Action) was held in Belgrade from June 22nd till 25th, 2014. At the panel of the conference, entitled "Urban Development and Civic Struggles" , has participated the representative of Expeditio, Tatjana Rajic.

AESOP annual congress titled "From control to co-evolution" was held from the July 9th till 12th 2014, in Utrecht (Netherlands). One of the roundtables at the conference was organized on the theme "The Co-Creation of Public Spaces in Cities in Transition" and it was participated by the representative of Expeditio, Tatjana Rajic.

Balkan Express Network Meeting was held in Ljubljana on May 26th 2014. Balkan Express is a platform that connects people interested in cooperation with, and within, the Balkan countries that are involved in contemporary art and complementary socially engaged practices.

At the shopping center Kamelija, on May 18th 2014 at 11:00h, was held a meeting of non-governmental associations of Kotor regarding the situation in the flooded areas. The following plan for help is made: On Monday, 19.5. 2014. and Tuesday, 20.05.2014., from 9 till 21h collection points for donations will be open at the following locations:

First regional conference on the theme "Green Culture" was held in Tivat, from May 15-17. As part of this conference Expeditio had an oportunity to present itself. Expeditio representative gave a presentation on the application of the principles of sustainable development in our several projects.

Meeting of the potential partners on cross-border project BiH-MNE was held in Mostar on 10.05.2014. The meeting was attended by the representatives of CHwB (Cultural Heritage Without Borders), the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, Tourist Organization of Kotor and Expeditio.

Committee for Energy Efficiency and Environment Protection was constituted in the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro on April 17th, 2014. For the president is elected Mladen Bajković from ETG group, while his deputy is Biljana Gligoric from NGO Expeditio. Committee Code of Practise, as well as its Work Program are adopted.

Film "Venetian Syndrome" projection, held 14/04/2014. at Kino Boka - Kotor, filled the cinema hall (projection was attended by about 110 people). The film was followed by a brief discussion and comments on the film can be read below.

NGO Nasa akcija (Our Action) this year, as well, has prepared a Calendar "Earth Month in Montenegro 2014". It is a campaign that aims to unify the environmental, social and healthy initiative on a single platform, thus enabling easier communication and coordination with all organizations, institutions and individuals. NGO "Nasa akcija" wish is to strengthen civil activism as well as awareness in the field of ecology and environmental protection. Follow the events and get involved - Calendar "Earth Month in Montenegro 2014".

Meeting of the Balkan Express Board was held in Ljubljana from March 21st till 22nd, 2014. Balkan Express is a platform that connects people interested in cooperation with, and within, the Balkan countries that are involved in contemporary art and complementary socially engaged practices.

Committee on Economics, Finance and Budget, at the 45th session held on February 24th 2014, decided that consultative examination (debate) on the theme: "EFFECTIVE USE OF ENERGIE, SITUATION IN MONTENEGRO WITH REFERENCE TO THE DRAFT LAW ON EFFICIENT USE OF ENERGY" will be held on March 24th (Monday) 2014, in the building of the Montenegro Parlament at 10:00 am (blue room).

NGO Expeditio has signed a Balkan declaration on the development of social entrepreneurship that will be adopted later this week in Belgrade. The initiative for the signing of this declaration was made on the occasion of the adoption of the so-called Strasbourg- declaration, on January 17th this year, which invited the EU and the Member States to encourage new models of economic development, particularly through the promotion and development of social entrepreneurship. In this direction is launched the initiative of adopting a Balkan declaration which, in this case, invite the governments of the Western Balkans and Turkey, as well as the EU itself, to promote the development of social entrepreneurship so that they focus the available funds on this concept.

Montenegrin Olympic Committee organized a workshop on the theme: "Energy efficiency of sports facilities", which was held for directors of sports facilities and municipal secretaries of sports. Facilities managers and secretaries of sports lectures were held by experts in that field, among which was the representative of Expeditio (Expeditio Architects) Biljana Gligoric .

On the occasion of Energy Efficiency World Day , in the multimedia hall of the Municipality of Tivat, yesterday , March 5th, 2014, was organized a Conference on energy efficiency. Participation at the conference had Expeditio representative Biljana Gligoric .

In Dubrovnik  was held a round table on the topic: Independent cultural and social centers as public spaces, on February 25th, 2014. The roundtable discussed the spatial and user-control problems of the independent cultural scene in Croatia. Given that these problems are current in Montenegro as well, representatives of YCC Herceg Novi, Radio Bruškin, the Culture Council of the Municipality of Kotor and Expeditio took part in this event.

Expeditio representative had participated at the meeting of the newly formed Council for Culture of the Municipality of Kotor , held in the palace Bizanti on February 20th, 2014.

Expeditio representative Biljana Gligoric, is proposed to be involved, as independent expert, in the work of the Working Group for monitoring and review of the National Strategy for Sustainable Development, as its permanent member.

Expeditio representative, Aleksandra Kapetanovic, was a jury member at the recently held awards ceremony EU PRIZE FOR CULTURAL HERITAGE / EUROPA NOSTRA AWARDS. European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards, is celebrating excellence in the preservation of cultural heritage, ranging from the restoration of buildings and their adaptation to new uses, to the rehabilitation of urban and rural landscapes, archaeological interpretations, and care for art collections. Moreover, emphasizes research, commitment to heritage conservation by individuals or organizations and educational projects related to cultural heritage.

Within the workshop: "Eco-tourism as an opportunity for sustainable development in the Bay of Kotor", which is held in Kotor from January 30th till February 1st, 2014. Expeditio representative gave a presentation about our projects and activities that interwine with the theme of the workshop.
