This project is one of eight NGOs projects approved under the "IPA 2007 Support to Civil Society in Montenegro". Partners: CORNUCOPIA - Institute for Space and Culture, from Vransko, Slovenia and ACADEMICA - Academic Group, from Belgrade, Serbia. The overall objective of the project is to promote intercultural dialogue and creativity between EU and Montenegro in the field of contemporary architecture and planning. The main purpose of the project is the development of concepts of modern, energy-efficient and low-cost (low cost) houses, which will form a new space that would unite the characteristics of Montenegrin surroundings and the accomplishments of contemporary architecture, new technologies and knowledge taken from the EU and neighboring countries.

Within the project Benefit Living, which is conducted in partnership between Expeditio and organizations Academica and Cornucopia, our colleague Veselin Vasiljković (Academica) visited the 1618 - Sustainable Luxury Fair in Paris. At a Competition for financing NGO projects in 2010, ur organization has received funding to the amount of 5,000.00 €. We applied for the missing funds for the project Benefit Living, which was approved to our organization last year by the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro. the project Benefit Living, which is implemented in partnership between Expeditio and the organizations Cornucopia from Slovenia and Academica from Serbia, representatives of the Slovenian partner organization visited, at the beginning of March 2010, the Ecobuild Fair, in London, the world’s biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment. Combining a 1000+ exhibitor-strong product showcase with more than 100 free conference and seminar sessions and dozens of interactive educational attractions, Ecobuild connects formal learning with practical experience, and with products and suppliers. Over 41,000 visitors attended Ecobuild 2010, including some of the most influential organisations and individuals responsible for some of the most valuable construction projects across the UK and beyond.
On 9th February 2010, the first meeting of partners within the project “Benefit Living“ was held in Podgorica. The meeting was attended by representatives of the organizations CORNUCOPIA from Slovenia, ACADEMICA from Belgrade andEXPEDITIO from Kotor. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the further steps of the project realization and to define a detailed schedule of tasks. Furthermore, some preliminary concepts of the project development were considered and agreed on, so that the planned aims of the projet could be reached in the most effective way. 
The project "Benefit Living" started on January 1, 2010 and it is conducted in partnership between EXPEDITIO, as a lead partner, CORNUCOPIA - Institute for Space and Culture, from Vransko, Slovenia and ACADEMICA - Academic Group, from Belgrade, Serbia.
On Tuesday, 8 December 2009, Expeditio signed a contract with the EU Delegation to Montenegro for the implementation of the project entitled "Benefit Living: A New Layer of Creative Building and Planning in Montenegro". This is one of the eight projects of non-governmental organizations financed within the program "IPA 2007 Support to Civil Society in Montenegro". The total budget of the project "Benefit Living" is € 50,000.00 EU (the EU Delegation covers 90%, i.e. € 45,000.00 of the total value, while the financial contribution of Expeditio is 10% i.e. € 5,000.00).
EXPEDITIO is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to encourage sustainable spatial development in Montenegro and SEE region through activity in the fields of sustainable architecture, cultural heritage, urban planning and through projects that encourage overall development of the civil society. Expeditio was established in 1997.
