The project "Heritage - Driver of Development" aim is contribution to the establishment of cooperation between the institutions responsible for the protection of natural and cultural heritage in Croatia and Montenegro through implementation of joint programs, education, transfer of knowledge and activities to raise awareness. First meeting of Working Group responsible for project implementation

Tivat, 26 March 2013 (Radio Dux) – The first meeting of Working Group responsible for the implementation of IPA cross-border project “Heritage-Driver of Development” was held in Tivat. The project lead partner is the Municipality of Tivat, while its local partners are Cultural Heritage Association NAPREDAK Gornja Lastva, from Tivat and NGO Expeditio, from Kotor. The lead partner in Croatia is the Physical Planning Institute of Dubrovnik-Neretva County.

Heritage – Driver of Development: a cross-border cooperation project between Croatia and Montenegro

An agreement on the implementation of the project “Heritage – Driver of Development, Dubrovnik and Boka Kotorska region – joint cross border activities in applying new methodologies in natural and cultural heritage protection and management” has been signed today between the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro and the Municipality of Tivat. The project was approved within a Cross-Border Programme Croatia-Montenegro, under the Measure 1.1: Joint actions for environment, nature and cultural heritage protection.
