"Budućnost kakvu želimo" is a translation of the final document of the UN Conference on sustainable development Rio+20, entitled “The Future We Want”. This document was adopted in July 2012.

EXPEDITIO is included in a global campaign for a sustainable future. We invite you to take part in consultations in the field of environmental protection, which are part of a broader thematic consultations on the development path of Montenegro after 2015. Consultations, intended for all interested parties from the public, NGO and business sectors of coastal municipalities, will be held in Kotor (in Hotel Vardar's Hall, Old Town) on Thursday, March 7th, 2013, from 11.00 to 14.00h.

We want to inform you that the sculpture of “Tristan” has been moved from the park and placed in the hall of Primary School "Milan Vuković" in Herceg Novi. A large number of children from this school took part in the painting of the sculpture.

Expeditio invites all interested person to take part in a day long workshop entitled “Mapping the Women’s Spaces”, which will be held in Kotor, on Saturday, 16 February 2013, from 11.00 to 16.00. The workshop will be organized in cooperation with the non-governmental organization Anima in order to initiate the feminist mapping in Montenegro. As the practice of creation of “women’s maps” has begun in the neighbouring countries over the last few years, the idea of the workshop is to acquaint all interested persons with the methodology of feminist mapping and to present good examples so far. On 20 December 2012, the daily newspaper “Pobjeda” published an article about the installation of “Tristan” sculpture. “Tristan” invites people to think about the principles of sustainable development – using renewable energy sources (leaves in the form of wind turbines), environmental protection (recycling),  involving local people of all ages in creative activities that contribute to the community development (children painting “the tree”), etc.

In the middle of December 2012, Expeditio invited the citizens of Kotor and surrounding municipalities, to lend them for several days their old lamps, chandeliers, lanterns, lampshades and flashlights. The idea was to use those lamps to light one small public space in the Old Town Kotor. We wanted to show that, through engaging citizens in a simple and creative action, a public space can be improved and made more interesting. This activity was realized in cooperation with the members of the artistic associatio ProstoRož from Ljubljana. Prostoroz explores, examines and opens new possibilities of public space use in accordance with the needs of its inhabitants in Slovenia and abroad (www.prostoroz.org).
