A presentation of the project Revival of City Squares in Balkan Cities was organized by Expeditio - Centre for Sustainable Spatial Development, at the square in front of St. Joseph’s church.
The publication ”Guidelines for the Revival of Public Spaces – Good practice selection”, in Montenegrin language, contains a selection of translated texts presenting good practice examples related to the planning, use and management of open public spaces that can be useful when considering some future activities for the improvement and revival of squares and other public spaces in the Balkan cities.
The publication is intended for professionals, state institutions and local governments responsible for spatial planning issues. In addition, it can serve as a source of inspiration for other stakeholders - the business and civil sectors representatives, as well as all the citizens who want to spend more time in squares and public places in their cities and to use them in a better way.
The final presentation of the project “Revival of City Squares in Balkan Cities” was held on Friday, the 15th February 2013 at 18:00 in the Old town of Kotor, in the square in front of St. Joseph’s church (near the Old Prison building).
