EXPEDITIO established contact with CIAV - International Committee of Vernacular Architecture with the aim of exhchanging experiences and initiating cooperation related to the project of vernacular heritage valorization in Montenegro.
CIAV is a Scientific Committe of ICOMOS - International Council on Monuments and Sites, one of the most important international organizations dedicated to cultural heritage protection.
The International Scientific Committee of Vernacular Architecture advises ICOMOS and the World Heritage Committee (WHC) on matters that pertain to all aspects of the management of rural areas, village settlements and vernacular architecture.

EXPEDITIO is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to encourage sustainable spatial development in Montenegro and SEE region through activity in the fields of sustainable architecture, cultural heritage, urban planning and through projects that encourage overall development of the civil society. Expeditio was established in 1997.
