This photo shows a beautiful entrance to the Kotor area, just after one passes the tunnel. However, instead of this breath taking view soon we will have a petrol station and a two-floor building (currently under construction). It is important to note that five petrol stations already exist in the immediate vicinity, within 5 km distance.
Opposite the construction site that can be seen in the photograph is a cemetery with two churches, interesting for its cultural heritage value. Instead of a beautiful and poetic introduction to a historic heritage of Kotor, the entrabce to Kotor features billboards and a petrol station obstructing the view.
