Comments and objections to the draft Law on the Protection of the Area of Kotor and the plans for Prcanj and Orahovac

Within the public hearing about the draft Law on the Protection of the Natural and Cultural-Historical Area of Kotor, EXPEDITIO submitted the comments and objections to the draft Law to the Ministry of Culture.

Additionally, EXPEDITIO submitted objections to the following plans which were subject to the public hearing in the first half of November to the municipality Kotor, Secretariat for Urban Planning, Construction and Residential-Public Utility Affairs:

Objections to the draft Amendment to the Detailed Urban Plan of Orahovac and Drazin vrt

Objections to the draft Local Location Study of Glavati-Prcanj

Objections to the draft Detailed Urban Plan of Prcanj.

The major objections to the above plans are as follows:

In the opinion of relevant public institutions in charge of protection of cultural heritage, Directorate for the Protection of Cultural Heritage and the Ministry of Culture, the draft Detailed Urban Plan of Prcanj and the draft Amendment to the Detailed Urban Plan of Orahovac and Drazin vrt were not acceptable from the conservationist point of view. As a result, we deem that these plans have to be further elaborated until the requirements of the profession are fulfilled.
