Urban Memories – the meeting of regional organisations on the initiative of Art Workshop Lazareti, Dubrovnik, 25-27 November

The meeting of organisations “Abart” from Mostar, “Blok” and “Kontraakcija” from Zagreb and “Expeditio” from Kotor was held in Dubrovnik from 25 to 27 November 2011 on the initiative of the Art Workshop Lazareti which is launching the project dealing with the issue of urban memory.

The Project being launched by the Art Workshop Lazareti will focus on the interpretation of issues of urban memory, collective identity, collective memory, forgetting, positive and negative aspects of melancholia, fabricated memory, changes in the purpose of public spaces, their disappearance and other aspects of the public, collective and private, primarily on examples of Dubrovnik.
