The “Course on Local Sustainability and Action II” gathered 39 mid-level officials of national, regional and local governments, cities, members of associations of municipalities and towns, local and regional development institutions, and NGOs from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, FYRO Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo/a (territory under interim UN administration); as well as representatives of local regional and national authorities from countries of Visegrad agreement (Czech, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia).
The course provided information on principles, strategies, methodologies and policies relevant for working for sustainable development. It offered skills and presented case studies of successful sustainable actions in EU and beyond.
