Date: 29 January 2008 (Tuesday)
Time: 11.00 – 14.00 h
Place: Montenegro Business Alliance (MBA) office, Kralja Nikole 27a/4 (Poslovni centar Čelebić-preko puta Sahat kule), Podgorica
Until now, there were no round-tables on similar topics with the business sector, but there remains a need to review possible ways for the NGO and business sectors to cooperate, and to establish a realistic product and service offer on the market, in order to encourage concrete principles of energy efficiency and leave the theory behind. The concept of this activity is not free marketing for the business sector, but rather as a search for new possibilities and partnership between the NGO and business sectors.
The reasons for starting the project
A constant concern for increasing energy efficiency is one of the key components of sustainable development and a strategic goal of Montenegro at national level. It is also one of the important components of integration in the European Union. This is understandable if we take into consideration that construction is responsible for 40-50% of the world’s consumption of energy and for the same percentage of pollution.
Partners and associates in the project “Energy Days in Montenegro”
Our partners in the project are Montenegro Business Alliance from Podgorica, Ministry for Economic Development / Unit for Energy Efficiency, NGO Natura and Radio Ozon from Kolašin. Our associates are OD-DO Architects from Belgrade.
For whom is the round table intended?
