In all studies and strategies, cultural heritage of Kotor and Boka Kotorska has been recognized as a great potential for the development of the area. In the municipality of Kotor itself, there are about 135 registered monuments of culture.
THE AIM OF THE PROJECT is to promote cultural assets and distinctive cultural properties of the Municipality of Kotor by launching a bilingual internet presentation of the cultural monuments existing on the territory of the Municipality.
We have obtained support, with the expressed willingness to cooperate in the project, from the Regional institute for the protection of cultural monuments Kotor and the Tourist organization of Kotor.
The funding, to the amount of 3.275,00 €, was obtained from the Municipality of Kotor, through a Competition for financing the NGO projects in 2008.
EXPEDITIO is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to encourage sustainable spatial development in Montenegro and SEE region through activity in the fields of sustainable architecture, cultural heritage, urban planning and through projects that encourage overall development of the civil society. Expeditio was established in 1997.
