On 10-11 September 2016, a meeting entitled “Emotional Geographies – Kotor 2016” will be held in Kotor. “Emotional Geographies” are part of the international platform URBAN HUM which was established with the goal of critical thinking, presentation, preservation and interpretation of urban and public spaces, as well as contemplating new forms of urban co-existence in the Balkans and Eastern European countries. Expeditio is a member of this platform.
The meeting “Emotional Geographies” in Kotor will gather the platform members and lecturers from the Balkans and Eastern European counties.
The meeting will include presentation of recent urban project in Zagreb, Belgrade and Mitrovica, which will be held on Saturday, 9 September, beginning at 4 p.m., as well as a symposium on transformation of urban spaces, to be held on Sunday, 11 September, beginning at 10 a.m.
The meeting also includes the play “Battle of Neretva” (presented at the international FIAT 2016 festival in Podgorica), which will be performed by the Shadow Caster from Zagreb, on Saturday, 10 September at 8 p.m. in the Cultural Centre “Nikola Đurković”, as well as the screening of the documentary film “Man on Wire”, on Saturday, 11 September at 8 p.m. in Boka Cinema in Kotor.
The Shadow Casters, coordinators of the Urban Hum platform, are an international non-profit artistic platform from Zagreb, whose work and pubic activity over a period of 15 years included cooperation with more than 150 artists from 30 countries, produced more than 50 educational, theatre and film projects and events on the 4 continents and received numerous awards.
