Publication on restoring traditional wooden windows is in progress. This publication is realized within the project "Traditional materials and building techniques in Boka Kotorska" that EXPEDITIO implements in two year period from August 2014 till August 2016.
The project aims to increase knowledge and awareness of the use of traditional materials and building techniques in restoration of buildings, in line with contemporary challenges (energy efficiency, modern standards and requirements, ...). Focus of the project within the first year of implementation is restoration of traditional wooden windows.
Project is funded by Headley Trust Foundation from UK.
EXPEDITIO is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to encourage sustainable spatial development in Montenegro and SEE region through activity in the fields of sustainable architecture, cultural heritage, urban planning and through projects that encourage overall development of the civil society. Expeditio was established in 1997.
