Desk for Creative Europe of the Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Municipality of Kotor, held on 04/08/2015 Info day dedicated to EU programs Creative Europe and the Europe for Citizens 2014-2020, at the Byzantines Palace in Kotor. EXPEDITIO representative, Maja Krivokapic, participated in the Info Day, presenting two projects supported by the EU Culture programs.
After welcome notes from the Municipality of Kotor representative and Creative Europe board coordinator, programmes Media and Culture were presented. Participants showed the greatest interest for the competitions for sub programme Culture - European cooperation projects and European platforms.
The second part of the Info day was dedicated to the presentation of the European Union policy in the field of cultural heritage and new segments of the Working Plan for Culture 2015-2018. During the presentation are presented examples of good practice of NGO Expeditio, whose representative Maja Krivokapic talked about two projects of this organization funded by the EU program Culture 2007-2013 - project ECLECTIS and project EUROPEAN ARTIZEN INITIATIVE, which is supported within Creative Europe programme as the only project with Montenegrin participation in the competition for cooperation projects in 2014.
At the end of the day it was talked about four program competitions within the Europe for Citizens 2014-2020 - European memory programme, City Networks, Town Twinning project and Civil Society. Info day was attended by 23 participants, amongst whom were representatives of the municipalities of Kotor, Budva and Bar, municipal cultural institutions and civil society organizations.
