Within the project "Heritage-Driver of Development", brochure and map named KRAJODRAZI were issued a few days ago. Map and brochure are intended as educational and promotional material on the subject of landscape and cultural and natural heritage of Dubrovnik-Neretva County and the Bay of Kotor. The material is intended for institutions, citizens and tourists.
The basic theme of the project "Heritage-Driver of Development" are the natural and cultural landscapes that do not have legal protection and are exposed to degradation and changes... As they reflect the unity of life in one area, it was decided to present the landscape of certain regions, as part of wider cross-border region of Dubrovnik Neretva county and the Boka Bay.
The descriptions in the brochure are in fact quotes of the writers, travel writers, poets who have visited this area or live in it. In this way, literary texts on the landscape of border areas are valorized and made available, as intangible heritage. Selected quotations are associated with photos and reproductions of paintings by various authors which are related to this area.
The map is developmed as an experience, manufactured in digital collages and shows a summary of all aspects of heritage.
Landscapes are the reader and viewer transmitted as someone else's experience, therefor encourage to ride through artistic impression notice the invisible things and experience so far unexperienced.
