Expeditio representative, Aleksandra Kapetanovic, is a jury mamber in the category 3 Dedicated service for the awards EU Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards. Jury meeting was held in early February in The Hague (Netherlands). Information about the awards for this year will be soon published.
European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards,is celebrating excellence in the preservation of cultural heritage, ranging from the restoration of buildings and their adaptation to new uses, to the rehabilitation of urban and rural landscapes, the interpretation of archaeological sites, and care for art collections. Moreover, it emphasizes research, commitment to heritage conservation by individuals or organizations and educational projects related to cultural heritage.
Expeditio representative is a member of the jury who is related to category 3: DEDICATED SERVICE by INDIVIDUALS or ORGANISATIONS.
The awards will be given to the winners at a large public event, which is held every year in a different European city. Vienna hosted the awards in 2014, Athens in 2013 and Lisbon in 2012.
