Public spaces and Gender: History that no more exists. History that no more exists is an artistic action that was inspired by the fact that traces of the women's history in Boka Kotorska is hard to find. As the role of women in public and political life today again reduces, through artistic setting in a public space we will remember the importance and influences that our mothers, grandmothers, neighbors, friends, teachers and other dear females left on our lifes. Through their presence and messaging, they had influence on all of us, they marked our world ... Therefore, we believe that their story needs to be awakened and recorded. Please join us in this campaign and help us in this challenging work.
History of women in the area of the Boka Kotorska is invisible.
Help us in discovering it by sharing a part of their personal history.
Send us a scanned photo of your mother, grandmother, neighbor, friend, teacher, godmother or some other dear women that marked your life (and is no longer with you). Please, along a photo, submit a short story about reasons why that person was so special to you. This call is directed to everyone, regardless of gender and age.
Let's give recognition to women who have had a powerful impact on our personal lives.

Research: "Woman Map of Boka Kotorska" was precursor of the activity Public spaces and Gender: History that no more exists and workshop "Mapping the women's spaces". The idea behind all this activities is to identify the layers of women's history in Boka and to represent them to the public in creative way, through the artistic interventions in public space.
