Montenegrin Olympic Committee organized a workshop on the theme: "Energy efficiency of sports facilities", which was held for directors of sports facilities and municipal secretaries of sports. Facilities managers and secretaries of sports lectures were held by experts in that field, among which was the representative of Expeditio (Expeditio Architects) Biljana Gligoric .
Other experts in the field of energy efficiency which hold lectures were: Dragica Sekulic (General Director of Directorate for Energy Efficiency), Mladen Brajkovic (ETG group) and Milan Sekularac (Mechanical Engineering Faculty), and Igor Vusurovic, Acting Director of the Sports and young.
There were, also, discussed ways to finance projects related to improving the state of Montenegrin sports facilities, primarily projects that increase their efficiency and reduce environmental pollution.
COC will intensify cooperation with the Directorate for Energy Efficiency, the UNDP and the Olympic solidarity aming to improve the conditions for the development of Montenegrin sport, all in accordance with the Law on energy efficiency, global changes in the field of environmental protection, the recommendations of the IOC and EU standards.
As foreseen in the action plan in the Olympic cycle from 2012 to 2016,COC nominated project "Sport and Environment Protection" at the Olympic Solidarity, Division of International Olympic Committee, which is responsible for helping the national committees.
After the presentation of the project, the president of COC Dusan Simonovic,handed energy audits to the representatives of SC "Moraca", Kotor sweeming pool "Niksa Bucin" and SC"Topolica".
