Expeditio representative suggested for the inclusion in the Working Group for monitoring and review of the National Strategy for Sustainable Development

Expeditio representative Biljana Gligoric, is proposed to be involved, as independent expert, in the work of the Working Group for monitoring and review of the National Strategy for Sustainable Development, as its permanent member.

According to the Decision on Education of the National Council for Sustainable Development and Climate Changes ( "Official Gazette of Montenegro" , No. 49/ 13) , it is envisaged that the Council has three permanent working groups that will, during this year, work on the preparation of materials and expert conclusions for consideration by the Council . One of three working groups is Working Group for monitoring and review of the National Strategy for Sustainable Development.

The Working Group began its work in February this year when was held the first meeting where, among other topics, was discussed the mandate and the name of the Working Group. In accordance with the conclusions of the meeting, and on the proposal of Working Group members, it is initiated the inclusion of additional members in the composition of the Group.

In this regard, bearing in mind the work and current involvement in the field of sustainable development, and  that previously was in position of Council Working Group Coordinator and was in charge of the process of monitoring the implementation of NSDS 2007-2012 , as well as vice president of the outgoing Council, the representative of Expeditio is suggested to be, as independent expert, involved in the work of this Working Group.
