Expeditio representative took part at the Anna Lindh Mediterranean Forum, held in Marseille, on 4-7 April 2013.
The Forum was held within the programme of Marseille European Capital of Culture 2013. Held under the banner ‘Citizens for the Mediterranean’, the Forum brought together more than 1500 civil society organizations from 44 countries of the Euro-Mediterranean region.
The Forum included numerous conferences, panel discussions and trainings on intercultural dialogue, human rights enhancement and development of democratic principles in the Euro-Mediterranean region. Furthermore, the Forum opened a space for interaction, exchange and debate of the top issues facing the Euro-Med region today, with concrete plans for a better partnership across the region. Among its key conclusions, partners proposed to launch an Annual Week of the Mediterranean, where voices and joint actions of citizens, parliaments, local authorities and civil society will be shared.
Expeditio representative participated at the panel discussion ‘Public spaces and citizens’.
EXPEDITIO is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to encourage sustainable spatial development in Montenegro and SEE region through activity in the fields of sustainable architecture, cultural heritage, urban planning and through projects that encourage overall development of the civil society. Expeditio was established in 1997.
