“Trails through World Heritage - Improving the tourist offer of Kotor and encouraging the active life of citizens through promoting the walking and hiking trails of the Kotor Region” is a new project of Expeditio. The project was approved at the Public competition for the distribution of the budget intended for financing of non-governmental organizations in the Kotor municipality for 2017, based on the Decision of the Commission for the distribution of funds adopted on 14 December 2017.
Our dear colleagues and friends from the organization Cultural Heritage without Borders (CHwB) are celebrating this year the 10th anniversary of their Regional Restoration Camps.
The CHwB Regional Restoration Camps represent a simple and successful training model, the main objective of which is to use cultural heritage to build relations among young professionals and to preserve traditional crafts and techniques.

The Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management organized a presentation of the results of two Studies on Tivat Salinas carried out during 2017: “Regulation of Watercourses and Channels in the Tivat Salinas Special Reserve” undertaken by “IS Projekt” from Ljubljana and “Protection of Cultural Heritage in Tivat Salinas Special Reserve” conducted by “Expeditio Architects” from Kotor. The presentation was held at the Municipality of Tivat, on Thursday, 6 July 2017 at 10 a.m..
On Monday, 26 June 2017 at 5.15 p.m. the Radio Kotor aired the show Ljetnje teme (Summer Topics) with Tatjana Rajić from NGO Expeditio. Tatjana Rajic spoke about the round table Mapping and use of public spaces in Herceg Novi as preconditions for inter-sectoral cooperation that was held in Herceg Novi on 8 June 2017, organized by the Youth Cultural Centre – OKC Herceg Novi.
From June 15 to June 2017 Belgrade hosted a big conference entitled “Cultural Heritage Counts for (South-East) Europe” and capacity building days entitled “Education and Citizen Engagement” organized by Europa Nostra – a pan-European network for cultural heritage, Europa Nostra Serbia and South East European Heritage Network in partnership with the Creative Europe Programme, European Commission and ICOM SEE - International Council of Museums South East Europe Alliance. The event was attended by Expeditio representative Aleksandra Kapetanović.
The second day of the conference (Friday, 16 June) ended with the performance of the documentary play “KoTo(r) o Kotoru”.
On 8 June 2017, the workshop entitled “Mapping and use of public spaces in Herceg Novi as preconditions for inter-sectoral cooperation” was held in the Youth Centre in Herceg Novi. The workshop, organized by the NGO Youth Cultural Centre Herceg Novi, is one of the activities of the project Novi gradski HUB / The New City HUB implemented by the Youth Cultural Centre.
