Fondacija Petrović Njegoš u saradnji sa NVO Kulturno zavičajno udruženje NAPREDAK Gornja Lastva i EXPEDITIO – Centar za održivi prostorni razvoj iz Kotora kao i društvima Athos Airpower Nomandie i Green Energy Normandie kreće u izradu studije čija je tema revitalizacija pejzaža Vrmca uz istovremeni razvoj zelene energije. Projekat je uvršten u program od 100 projekata borbe protiv klimatskog zagrijavanja kojeg pokreću Fondacije R20 i Di Caprio a Green Energy Normandie će učestvovati u njenom finansiranju.

At the beginning of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, Europa Nostra is proud to issue Learning Kits for heritage civil society organisations on three crucial topics: Fundraising, Awareness-Raising & Advocacy, and Citizen Engagement & Education. The Learning Kits provide innovative and practical approaches to these topics and bring together dozens of outstanding examples from 21 countries across Europe. These digital publications, which were produced with the support of the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, are availablei online and can be easily read and shared.

The Learning Kit on Citizen Engagement & Education napresents, as one of the eight examples of good practices and experiences worth sharing, the participatory theatre play “KoTo® o Kotoru”.

“Trails through World Heritage - Improving the tourist offer of Kotor and encouraging the active life of citizens through promoting the walking and hiking trails of the Kotor Region” is a new project of Expeditio. The project was approved at the Public competition for the distribution of the budget intended for financing of non-governmental organizations in the Kotor municipality for 2017, based on the Decision of the Commission for the distribution of funds adopted on 14 December 2017.

Our dear colleagues and friends from the organization Cultural Heritage without Borders (CHwB) are celebrating this year the 10th anniversary of their Regional Restoration Camps.

The CHwB Regional Restoration Camps represent a simple and successful training model, the main objective of which is to use cultural heritage to build relations among young professionals and to preserve traditional crafts and techniques.

The Society of Friends of Boka Heritage, EXPEDITIO and a group of prominent individuals and experts issued a statement in order to halt the adoption procedure of the Law on Planning and Construction. You can read the statement below or you can download it here.

The Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management organized a presentation of the results of two Studies on Tivat Salinas carried out during 2017: “Regulation of Watercourses and Channels in the Tivat Salinas Special Reserve” undertaken by “IS Projekt” from Ljubljana and “Protection of Cultural Heritage in Tivat Salinas Special Reserve” conducted by “Expeditio Architects” from Kotor. The presentation was held at the Municipality of Tivat, on Thursday, 6 July 2017 at 10 a.m..
