This project was designed in cooperation with the Municipality of Kotor in order to strengthen the capacity of local governments and non-governmental organizations in the Bay of Kotor for projects writing and managing grants from the EU funds. The project is funded under the program PHILIA - Association of Multiethnic Cities of Southeast Europe.

EXPEDITIO publishes a booklet on the LFA - LOGICAL FRAMEWORK APPROACH, an objective-oriented planning tool

At the beginning of June 2007, EXPEDITIO published a booklet on LFA-Logical Framework Approach, an objective-oriented planning tool. The booklet sets out the LFA methodology and approach that can assist in analyzing, planning, presenting, as well as managing projects or programs. LFA METHOD is used for analyzing problems, stakeholders, and alternatives, defining a hierarchy of goals and selecting an appropriate strategy to carry out projects. The result of this analytical method is a PROJECT MATRIX, i.e. a DOCUMENT in the form of a simple chart that summarizes the goals the project aims at achieving, the ways in which it will be carried out, lists key conditions necessary for the project success and the ways in which planned concrete results and outcomes will be monitored and evaluated.

LECTURE OF THE MAYOR OF INDJIJA IN KOTOR

On 19 June 2007, a lecture of Mr. Goran Jesic, the mayor of Indjija will be held in Kotor. The lecture is organized within the project BETTER PREPARED FOR EUROPEAN FUNDS that is conducted by EXPEDITIO in cooperation with the Municipality of Kotor. The project aims at strengthening capacity of local governments and non-governmental organizations in Boka Kotorska for projects writing and managing grants from the EU funds. The project is financed within the PHILIA – Association of Multiethnic Cities of Southeast Europe programme.

Training: Project Proposal Writing

On 20-21 July 2007 in Kotor, EXPEDITIO in partnership with the Municipality of Kotor organized training on project proposal writing. The training was intended for local administrations and non-governmental organizations from the region of Boka Kotorska.

Better prepared for EU funds

Strengthening capacity of local governments and non-governmental organizations in Montenegro for projects writing and managing grants from the EU funds, is a project designed by EXPEDITIO in cooperation with Municipality of Kotor. In December 2006, project is approved by PHILIA - Association of Multuetnic Cities of Southeast Europe.

Over recent years in Montenegro it has become possible to obtain financial resources from the EU funds by applying to tenders.
