Workshops with schoolchildren in primary school "National Hero Savo Ilić" Kotor

Every Saturday, we conduct workshops with schoolchildren in primary school "National Hero Savo Ilic", focusing on a topic: Educating children about the values of space through a process of the schoolyard arrangement. During the last two workshops we discussed various ideas proposed by the schoolchilden. We prepared a presentation for them with photographs of schoolyards and photo-montages of possible future appearance of their schoolyard.

The aim of this exercise was to give the opportunity to children to see how one space they know can be transformed into a better space for their stay. The exercise also serves as an introduction to a practical work with the schoolchildren. By measuring the parts of the schoolyard that will be arranged during the project the children become familiar with the techniques of measuring space and thus with the process of space arrangement.
