perast-vodicEXPEDITIO has published a GUIDE TO PERAST in Montenegrin and English. In an interesting way and with lots of high-quality photographs the guide presents cultural and historical heritage of Perast and brings information about the location and history of Perast, important buildings in the town (churches, palaces, the fortress, etc.), as well as traditional events and additional information.

The guide is possible because of the voluntary contribution of Stevan Kordić, who provided the majority of the photographs. The Local Community of Perast and Society of Friends of Perast provided the texts. Ms. Leigh Grant revised and proofread the English texts. NGO EXPEDITIO provided pre-press, translation of the texts, and some of the photographs.
Publication of the guide was financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), within the Community Revitalization through Democratic Action Economic (CRDAE) programme, and through the support of the IRD organization.

The guide and brochure can be purchased in bookstores in Kotor and will soon be available in other coastal towns, as well as in Cetinje and Podgorica. They can also be bought directly in the EXPEDITIO office in Škaljari, Kotor. All those who are interested in selling the guide can contact us by writing to our e-mail address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The guide will soon be available in Belgrade, at the OD-DO Studio.

The guide can be bought in Montenegro at the following prices: 8,00 EUR in the EXPEDITIO office, Škaljari bb, Kotor or 9.00 EUR paid in the account of EXPEDITIO 530-11305-48 if you order it to be sent to you through the post (postage for the territory of Montenegro included in the price).

Together with the guide, EXPEDITIO has designed and set up a bilingual (in our and English language) WEB PRESENTATION OF PERAST www.perast.com which contains information from the guide. The donor for the site is the Kotor Municipality, and the funding was obtained through a Competition for financing the NGO projects in 2005.
