Ministry of Science of Montenegro will finance the scientific - research project "Valorization of Montenegrin pasture settlements through the sustainable development of agriculture and tourism - KATUN" under the grant project of the World Bank "Higher education and research for competitiveness - INGOs". Katun project was launched aiming at knowledge-based sustainable development of agriculture and agro-tourism in Montenegro pasture settlements, while preserving the cultural heritage of rural areas.
The project will be implemented by Faculty of Biotechnology, Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management from Kotor and the Historical Institute of Montenegro, together with two companies and with the support of partner institutions from the EU.
Expeditio representative, Aleksandra Kapetanovic,is engaged as a consultant on the project.
Presentation of the project will be held on 07.05.2015. at the Rector's Office of the University of Montenegro in 19h.
EXPEDITIO is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to encourage sustainable spatial development in Montenegro and SEE region through activity in the fields of sustainable architecture, cultural heritage, urban planning and through projects that encourage overall development of the civil society.
